Ever dream of writing a book of poetry?
 Guest Blog
By day I am an exhausted stay at home mother of two and a wife to an amazing man. But by night I am a poet, pouring my heart and soul out onto a screen.

I have often dreamt of  sitting in my cozy office next to a fireplace, tapping away my next book that will without a doubt  be a bestseller. But until that day comes I have been asking my self one question: "To ebook or not to ebook?"

There is nothing like getting a brand new book home and cranking that binding for the first time, the smell of the ink. Whether its a book I've read a bunch of times or a brand new one, something is physically pleasing, holding that book.

The new trend that I am recently considering is ebooks, which has been giving the indie writers alternatives. This seems too good to be true, getting my work out there without the backing of a publisher. It might not be the exact direction I have always dreamt my writing career would go, but its never been easier to become your own publisher.

But still I remain on the fence, not entirely convinced this is the best path for me at this time. Maybe its just self doubt, worrying that no one would even buy my book, without having an editor or others helping me to bring my work to life. However,  great websites will give me the step by step instructions to make it a breeze.

While I weigh the pros and cons of ebooks as opposed to paper - the obvious problem being I am not signing any book deals this week might make this decision a little easier. The one thing I will always know is that no matter where life leads me, I will always hold writing as my number one passion and will never write anything that doesn't touch my soul, whether there is a book deal on the table or not.

There are lots of great websites that can help you on your journey like the little Lulu and the giant Amazon. These sites will walk you through publishing your ebook.Whether you use these or choose another, do your research before you commit and find the best fit for you and your work.

As long as I have had a paper and a pen I was never alone. My blog: Pieces of Me is a window to my soul. The hurt, the love, pain and the steps of my healing is seen through my work. My only hope for my blog is that anyone who reads it can  relate to the different stages of my life. I have been peeling back the layers bit by bit exposing myself publicly for the first time. This has been a crazy journey for me, but I am greatful for the positive feed back from my readers and hope I can continue to touch others.
