Ebooks passed up print, but who's on top?
"Which Publishers Do Best at Ebook Sales?"
"...we at Digital Book World created ebook Publisher Power Rankings, to rank just how well each publisher is doing against the other. Our methodology was simple: Look at our top-25 Ebook Best-Seller list since we launched the thing over the summer and see how many titles each publisher had on the list each week and then add them up."

Mines the hottest ebook publishers, finding the the top five made up of Random House, Penguin, Scholastic, Hachette, and Simon & Schuster.
Notes that if they put Penguin and Random House together (which technically they are), the sales combined trump all other publishers combined in the top 25 ebook sales. While self-published authors, as a collective, are doing quite well, they are not among the top five. They also found that you do not have to be among the "big six" publishers overall to make to the top of ebook sales (Scholastic is an example).
