Introverts, due to their reserved nature, step out of the shadows less often than the more outgoing. But thanks to a new book by Susan Cain titled Quiet: The Power of Introverts in a World That Can't Stop Talking, the quieter folks among us are having something of a moment in the sun.
Emphasizes that introverts are often brilliant and innovative, and if they employ specific skills, they can deemphasize social weaknesses.
Notes that invisibility is what plagues shy entrepreneurs, but only if they just focus on traditional means of business communication. Introverts can make their great ideas visible through both writing and video. While some of the anxiety will remain with each, the stress will be minimized. I would add to the author's list audio, in the form of podcasts, for example.
Preparation at all stages can help to alleviate anxiety and poor performance. Although extroverts can often wing it, introverts do not have that luxury.
