Powerful visions of peace
Peace seems an impractical ideal because so many obstacles inhibit its progress. Likely, it is an impossible aspiration because so many people, cultures, religions, and ethnicities impede our unity.
However, thinking of the entire world and getting frustrated over the impossibility of the task accomplishes no good. Comprehending the whole paralyzes one with fear and leads to inaction.
What the world needs is action, but in the small scale to begin with, in the grass roots medium of humans, where peace and kindness can go viral, underground.
This brings us to the level of the individuals acting in the midst of friends and family. In isolated pockets, at least in the beginning, peace can thrive and spread.
The problem will always exist that those with malicious intent, power, and wealth will tend to crush the pockets of peaceful resistance. What must take place for the peaceful to overcome the powerful?
